Description

Julian Charter School families, we invite you to join us beneath the trees at San Dieguito Park for Project Week!

Monday, March 23 - Friday March 27

9:30 AM to 1:30 PM

Students will select a project from the JCS Project Week Outlines - math, science, social studies, spanish, community service, “butterfly effect,” or select their own passion project & submit a proposal to their JCS teacher.

Our teachers will guide your child through the process to have a completed project by week’s end, while also providing opportunities for student-led exploration and play guided by the rhythms of nature.

This week-long opportunity takes place 100% outdoors, providing the perfect setting to facilitate your child’s sense of adventure but balanced with curated project-based academic support. Participants will engage in expeditionary learning, individual research, and the profound effects of the being emerged in the natural world.
